Health & Safety FAQ
The safety of our SkyRise Chicago participants is paramount. Additionally, as a hospital, it is our top priority to protect the health and wellness of our patients, many of whom have the most severe, complex conditions.
COVID Protocols
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to ensure a safe event for all, we will be implementing the following protocols at SkyRise 2022:
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test collected within 72 hours of the event (between Nov. 3-6). Please note: home tests are not permitted. Testing is also available at no charge during packet pick-up. Register for a test in advance.
Please upload your vaccine information in advance of the event. Climbers will not be able to wear gloves as they are a barrier to hand hygiene. We will adhere to any and all City of Chicago mandates.
Please note that the protocol above is required for the SkyRise Chicago event only and not otherwise required for Willis Tower/Skydeck entry at another date/time. For the most up-to-date information on visiting the Skydeck, please visit their website.
Additional Information
- Vaccination cards and negative tests also may be presented at packet pick up times.
- If you do not wish to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test, we invite you to participate virtually.
- For additional questions around these protocols or the safety of the event, please email [email protected].
Shirley Ryan AbilityLab will follow any and all mandates issued by the City of Chicago to ensure safety. Check our website closer to the event for any updated guidance.
