Fundraising Tips & Tricks

At Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, we not only care for patients, but also help them return to full lives. To meet this goal, we offer a number of programs designed to enhance the quality of life for people who have lost ability due to serious injury or chronic conditions. These programs are unique, but many are not generally covered by insurance. 

This year, your fundraising minimum is required to climb and will only be based off of your fundraising, not your team’s average per climber. As a reminder, the minimum fundraising for a virtual climber is $100 and $200 for an inperson climber.

Facebook Fundraisers

Our platform allows you to connect your fundraising page with a Facebook fundraiser.

Please note: Meta is changing their payment processing system and all Facebook fundraisers will now automatically end October 31 ahead of this change. You should not need to take any action on your end, but wanted to make you aware.

Keep in mind, you must have your total fundraising amount completed in order to pick up your packet/participate in SkyRise Chicago on November 5, so please make sure you finish your fundraising by 10/31 through Facebook, or plan to receive the rest of your required donations directly through your DonorDrive page.
